Hazel Dallke
Hazel F. Dallke, 83, died Dec. 27, 2006, at Legacy Park, Peabody.
She was born Sept. 27, 1923, at Monroe City, Mo., to Cicero and Jennie Rosa (Harbit) Dowell. She was the ninth child of which four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
On Dec. 22, 1940, she married LeRoy A. Dallke. He preceded her in death Dec. 16, 2006.
Most of her life was spent as a homemaker, helping raise nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and neighborhood kids along with her own children.
Survivors include a son, Randy and Cindy Dallke and daughter, Patsy and Tim Litton, all of Peabody; one sister, Edna Schiill of Legacy Park; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice Care of Kansas, 2505 N. Main, North Newton 67117.
