Harry Molzen

Harry Earl Molzen, 86. Newton, died Sept. 11, 2002, at Schowalter Villa, Hesston.

Born May 21, 1916, at Newton, he was the son of the late Harry O. and Myrtle V. (McQuown) Molzen.

He was raised in Harvey County and attended Newton schools, graduating from Newton High School in the class of 1934.

He attended Bethel College and graduated from Kansas State University in 1939.

He was a vocational agriculture teacher until going into the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942.

He farmed until 2000 when he moved to Hesston.

A member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 60 years, he attended the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include sister, Hazel Craig of Mulvane and Myrtle Buller of Duluth, Minn.; nieces and nephews.

Services were held Saturday morning at Broadway Colonial Chapel in Newton with burial in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
