Harley Jones
Harley W. Jones, 87, died Jan. 20, 2004, at Peabody.
Born July 14, 1916, at Peabody, he was the son of John and Myrtle (Davis) Jones.
He was a painter, paper hanger, and machinist.
On July 20, 1937, he married Margaret Hett. She died in February 1993.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters, Belva and Marcella Jones, Mildred McClure, Thadine Riddiough, and Mary Katherine Tuttle.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Jones of Peabody and Duane Jones of Newton; a daughter, Deborah Brunzell of Peabody; a brother, Warren Jones of Norco, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody, with Pastor Ray Adams of First Missionary Church, Newton, officiating.
Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the Union Rescue Mission, Wichita.
