Hague, Phillips to marry
Dr. Robert and DoeAnn Hague of Peabody announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Rebecca of Peabody, to Matthew Ryan Phillips of Newton. He is the son of John R. and Cindy Phillips of Newton.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Peabody Burns High School. She attended Kansas Wesleyan University for two years and is a May 2005, graduate candidate at Wichita State University with a bachelor of general studies degree. She is employed as the manager of Matt's Detail Shop.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Newton High School. He attended Hesston College and Kansas State University. He is the owner of Matt's Detail Shop and Shiloh Supply in Newton.
The couple plans to marry Jan. 9, 2005, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The bride-elect's parents will host a wedding reception for the couple in February.
