Group enjoys dinner at Kingfisher's

Lenora Graham and Mrs. Charles Pretzer, Joshua and Levi of Elmdale had dinner Sunday at Kingfisher's Inn at Marion.

Twylah and Don Nightengale visited Harold and Shirley Grinstead Friday evening.

Jack Huntley of Springfield, Mo., was a visitor of his parents, Harold and Lois Huntley. The Mike Huntley family of Newton visited Saturday evening.

Bert and Scott Zogelman attended the Marion High School/Herington basketball game on Friday. Bert's granddaughter, Krista Zogelman, was a homecoming queen candidate.

Jeff Davidson of Eureka was a Friday overnight guest of his parents, Ray and Eleanor Davidson. Jeff and Ray presented a program Friday evening in Kansas City, Mo., for the Northeast Trail Riders Association meeting.

Don and Twylah Nightengale were Saturday supper guests of Brett and Mary Maloney and girls.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor of Marion were Friday supper guests of Ronald and Kathleen Ludwig.

Brandon Huntley and friend Veronica of Newton were Sunday afternoon visitors of his grandparents, Harold and Lois Huntley.

Jean Everett and Truman and Opal Strong attended the funeral on Wednesday of Paul Scharenberg at the Wonsevu Christian Church.

Tim and Janette Parmley and Melissa and Cody Parmley of Cedar Point were in Emporia Sunday to visit Janette's aunt Cornelia Schmidt and Margie Stein.

Pat and Mary Zogelman, Sara and Krista, Scott Zogelman, and Carol Callahan of Burns were Sunday supper guests of Bert Zogelman.

Ray and Eleanor Davidson attended a birthday dinner in Burns Sunday for her brother, Ed Grimwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Huntley, Brandon and Davey of Newton were Sunday supper guests of Harold and Lois Huntley.

Jean Everett attended the Valentine's dinner at Town and Country Café sponsored by the Wonsevu Ladies Aid.

Around 45 people attended the soup supper at the Valentine's Day celebration Sunday evening at the Florence Christian Church. Betty Ireland was in charge of the games.

Beki Zook visited Mr. and Mrs. Dane Martin and Alexander in Lawrence Monday and Tuesday.
