Groenings to observe 50th anniversary years ago
Loren and Lois Groening of Hillsboro will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Friday.
Lois Weber and Loren Groening were married Aug. 26, 1955, at Strassburg Baptist Church, rural Marion. The bride's brother, the Rev. Walter Weber, officiated.
The couple earlier celebrated the occasion with a family trip to Williamsburg, Va.
