Granddaughter visits from Manhattan

Angela Bunger of Manhattan arrived at her grandmother Opal Craney's Sunday night and was an overnight guest. Monday evening, she came to Grandma LaVonne's to spend the night and the next day. Tuesday, they and Maude Gaines went to Marion for lunch. Angela returned to Manhattan late Tuesday afternoon.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter had lunch at the Burns Café Monday.
Mac Clark and Bayleigh visited LaVonne and Angela Monday evening.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne visited Ike and Marie Clark and Bayleigh Tuesday evening.
Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived at the Ammeter farm late Tuesday evening to spend the night and Wednesday. Don Gillet was an additional visitor all day Wednesday.
LaVonne attended the two-day classes of the AARP "55 Alive Driver Safety Program" Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at the Burns Community Center.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those quilting were Dorene Kirkpatrick, Maude Gaines, Leona Widler, and Sherry Nightengale.
Mac Clark, Bayleigh, and Hadlye visited LaVonne Thursday evening.
Maude Gaines ate lunch and quilted at the Peabody Senior Center Thursday.
Maude and LaVonne ate lunch in Peabody Friday and visited with Albert Hess at the Dairy Creme.
Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., came to spend Friday night and Saturday with LaVonne. Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood was an additional Saturday guest. Saturday dinner guests were Myron, Sally, Blaine, Stan Ammeter and friend Marnita, John Boese, and Don Gillet. Myron and Sally went to Opal Craney's Saturday evening to spend the night and Sunday. Blaine returned to Ellinwood.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne ate lunch in El Dorado Sunday. In the afternoon, they visited Velma and Jim Clark and Gordon and Joan Clark.
Marti and Dave Nellans were visitors Sunday evening.
Betty Kyle and LaVonne attended Wanda Van Tuyl's funeral Wednesday morning at the Burns United Methodist Church. Prayers and sympathy to the Van Tuyl family.
