Melody Magette of Greensburg arrived at LaVonne's Saturday afternoon to spend a few days. Joyce Kyle, Maude Gaines, Margaret Matz, LaVonne, and Melody attended the wedding of Kylie Van der Weg and Darby McCord Saturday night at the Dyck Arboretum of the Plains in Hesston. It was a beautiful wedding, down by the lake. The group then journeyed to Newton to attend the reception at the VFW.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived at the Ammeter farm Sunday morning. Stan Ammeter also came and they mowed all morning. Blaine, Stan, LaVonne, and Melody all attended the Clark reunion at the Burns Community Building. We had good attendance. The Will Clark family was in charge of the reunion. There was lots of good food and fellowship.

Maude Gaines also attended the reunion.

Stephen and Rebecca Gillet and boys were Sunday evening visitors of LaVonne and Melody.

Don Gillet visited LaVonne Monday evening and was a Wednesday dinner guest.

Josh Clark visited LaVonne Tuesday evening.

Carolyn Holm of Wichita visited LaVonne late Wednesday afternoon.

The Rev. Sharon Bell and the Rev. and Mrs. David Randall visited at the Ammeter home Wednesday afternoon. They held a meeting on church business with the pastor-parish committee of the Summit Church. Ladies Aid quilted after the meeting. Those attending were Leona Widler, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and LaVonne.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Marion Thursday on business and for some shopping. Tom Clark was an afternoon caller at the Ammeter home.

LaVonne spent Friday afternoon at the home of Patti and Ronnie Gaines. LaVonne and Patti decorated a wedding cake for Kylie Van Der Weg.

LaVonne visited Maude Gaines Friday evening and Saturday morning.
