Graduation ceremonies fill week for Milton residents

Guests of Al and Bonnie Plummer Saturday were Ronnie and Patti Gaines in honor of Shelby's graduation. Gaines' dinner guest Sunday was Dusty Gaines of Newton. Ty and Kim Gaines of Emporia visited in the afternoon.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Manhattan Saturday and were overnight guests of Mitch and Cathy Foote. Upon returning home Sunday, they attended the graduation reception for Shelby Plummer at the Plummer home.
Dinner guests of Roland and Kim Koehn, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diana on Sunday were Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Nathan and Ella Koehn and Charity, and Lenae Koehn of James Port, Mo.
Vernon and Florine Koehn attended the funeral of Jerry Nichols' father, Pete, at Moundridge Sunday afternoon. Our sympathy to the Nichols family.
The Koehn family and Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn attended Eden Christian School on Saturday. Dalen Koehn was a graduate.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers went to Wichita Sunday afternoon to visit his sister and husband, Dave and Shirley Smith. They also visited with the Smiths' daughter and granddaughter, Katie Harms and Nicole of Brazil.
Joyce Kyle was a supper guest Monday of Ike and Marie Clark. Joyce and Marie attended the kindergarten program in Burns later in the evening. Joyce and the Clarks attended the home education graduation in Newton on Tuesday. Josie Green was a senior graduate and Gallagher, an eighth grade graduate.
Joyce attended Braxton Kyle's pre-school graduation Wednesday evening. Later she, Glenn and Betty Kyle, Marion and Carolyn Rowland, and Dan Kyle were guests of Bob and Becky Kyle, Brody and Braxton for ice cream cake.
Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County Senior Citizens board meeting Friday at Lincolnville. In the evening they and Mary Langenegger visited Larry and Dede Rehmert of Cassoday for the First Mennonite Senior Fellowship supper. They celebrated Pastor Reimer's 80th birthday.
Kathleen and Joyce went to Cheney Saturday morning and were lunch guests of Ronnie and Carol Waggy. In the afternoon they attended the wedding of Chuck Wilson and Christina Allmond at the Milton United Methodist Church where Chuck's father, the Rev. Eugene Wilson, is pastor and officiated at the wedding. On the way home they visited Greg and Judy Brenzikofer in Newton.
Sunday Joyce went to the home of Jim and Helen Schroeder, Kali and Cole and attended the graduation of Kali in the afternoon. She then returned to Peabody to attend the graduation of a niece, Emily, and many friends. Kathleen Brenzikofer joined her in Peabody and after graduation, they went "party hopping." They attended the reception for Shelby Plummer, Steven Morgan, and Emily Langenegger. Many friends and relatives enjoyed the parties. Congratulations to all graduates!
Chance and Brenda Manns and Bosten of Manhattan were Saturday overnight guests of Larry, Steven, and Dee Morgan.
