Grace Lirley
Grace V. Lirley, 77, Peabody, died June 9, 2003, enroute to Newton Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 19, 1925, in Wellington, the daughter of James Arnold and Mary Jane (Rosseau) Summers. She was married to Paul Vernon Lirley who preceded her in death in 1976. Her brothers Jack Summers and Lloyd Summers also preceded her in death.
A Wichita resident most of her life, she had lived in Peabody since 1998. She was an employee of Abe's Steak House, Wichita, for several years.
Survivors include two sisters, Viola Raines of Lawrence and Margaret Musick of Gunnison, Colo.; two sons, Paul Michael Lirley and wife Sandra Kay of Apple Valley, Calif., and Marvin Vernon Lirley of Peabody; three grandsons, Todd James Lirley and Bryan Michael Lirley of Apple Valley, Calif., and Paul Joseph Lirley.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Roger Charles officiated.
