Golfers take fourth at Riley County

The Peabody-Burns High School Warrior golf team continues to score well this season with a fourth-place team finish and two top-10 medalists at Riley County. The six-man team scored a 307 and finished behind Lakeside, Rock Hill, and Riley County.
Brian Wingert captured a seventh place medal with a score of 73. Joseph Zappone medaled at 0th with a score of 73. Thomas McGee shot a 78 and came in 16th. Oliver Whitney shot an 83 and placed 23rd. A.J. Jones placed 25th with an 87 and Jake Watts finished with an 88 in 26th place.
Curtis Frederick participated for the PBHS junior varsity and medaled in third place.
