Golf team wins again

The Peabody-Burns High School golf team captured more victories this past week at Chase County.

The two-man team of Brian Wingert and Joe Zappone placed first with a combined total of 142.

The four-man team of Travis Pohlman, Jason Wingert, Thomas McGee, and Jason McClendon also placed first with a team score of 311.

Brian Wingert earned a third-place medal with an individual round of 71.

Zappone also shot a 71 and earned a fourth-place medal.

Pohlman rounded out the medal count in fifth with a 72.

Jason Wingert was just edged out of the medal count, but finished sixth with a round of 72.
