Glen Krauter
Glen A. Krauter, 82, Peabody, died July 28, 2002, at Marion.
He was a retired aviation machinist.
Born Dec. 31, 1919, at Abbyville, he was the son of the late Gottlob and Elizabeth (Waddl) Krauter.
He and his wife, Milda (Bernhardt) Krauter, were married Oct. 5, 1943, at Wichita. She survives, at Peabody.
Other survivors include a nephew, Deyane Frazer of Wichita; three sisters-in-law, Adeline Bernhardt of Tampa, Clara Bernhardt of Ana Cortes, Wash., Patti Sherman of Burbank, Calif.; and others.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Val Krauter; and sister, Mildred Frazer.
Services were held today, Wednesday afternoon, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Peabody with the Rev. Robert Kloth officiating. Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name at the church.
