Girl Scouts to paint house numbers on curbs
To aid emergency volunteers and out-of-town visitors, members of Peabody Girl Scout Cadette/Senior Troop 68 and Junior Troop 75 will paint address numbers on curbs.
The girls will be going around Peabody asking homeowners if they would like their address numbers painted on the curb in front of homes and businesses.
The girls will be working on the project until the first part of August.
The cost is a free will donation, which will be used to fund a trip to Estes Park, Colo., with visiting English guides.
Any Peabody resident who is interested but has not been contacted should call Linda Fisher, Troop 68 leader, at 983-2454, or Sharlene Brooks, Troop 75 leader, at 983-2349.
