Girl Scouts sell 4,435 boxes of cookies years ago

Peabody Girl Scouts sold a total of 4,435 boxes of cookies this year. Top sellers were Erica Frederick, who sold 666 boxes, Amber Peterson, who sold 500, and Tristin Armstrong, who sold 328.

Frederick and Peterson are members of the Cadette-Senior Troop 68 and Armstrong is a member of Junior Troop 75.

Three girls sold 200 or more boxes and 13 girls sold 100 or more.

Last year, Frederick sold more cookies than any other scout in the Flint Hills Council.

The girls earned $765.50 in Cookie Dough to be used for anything related to Girl Scouting. Together they earned 86 prizes and 28 patches.

Beth Eldridge was the local "Mystery Lady" and Breta Alstrom found the Mystery Prize at her home.
