Three Peabody Girl Scout troops, Brownie Troop 67, Junior Troop 75, and Cadette-Senior Troop 68, have been selling cookies. A total of 29 girls participated.

They sold 4,728 boxes and won 86 prizes, 26 patches, and $161 in "cookie dough," the special script that can be used for Girl Scout special activities and anything from the Girl Scout catalogue. The three troops also earned $1,413.90 in troop bonuses to be used in troop activities.

Erica Frederick of Troop 75 was top sales person with 660 boxes sold. Jessica Sayers of the Brownie troop sold 369 boxes, Megan Sayers sold 301 boxes and Heather Brooks sold 300 boxes.

Four girls in all troops sold more than 200 boxes each and another 12 girls sold more than 100 boxes each.

There were eight kinds of cookies sold. "Thin Mints" are still the most popular, "Samoas" are the second biggest seller, "Do Si Dos" are third, and "Tagalongs" are fourth.

Ralph and Haroldine Hicks had the mystery prize and Heather Brooks was the scout who found it.
