Gaines to compete at national pedal pull championship
Devon Gaines, 6, rural Peabody, recently placed second at the Kansas State Fair for the state pedal pull championship.
There were 56 six-year-old boys who competed. Devon is qualified to participate in the national pedal pull competition Saturday in Mitchell, S.D. Only those contestants who placed in the top three places were eligible.
Devon is a student at Peabody-Burns Elementary School and the son of Jarrod and Jennifer Gaines, Peabody.
