Gaines family attends Kim's graduation

Ronnie and Patti Gaines and Dusty Gaines of Newton spent the weekend in Emporia celebrating the graduation of Kim Gaines from Emporia State University. They joined other family members and friends.

Al, Bonnie, and Shelby Plummer attended commencement ceremoniesSunday at Moundridge. They went to the home of Calvin and Donna Schmidt for their son Randall's graduation reception.

Bruce and Sheila Sayers hosted a Sunday dinner for family and friends in honor of their daughter Sara who graduated from high school. LaVonne Ammeter and Joyce Kyle were among the guests as were Sara's grandparents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers and Bill and Jean Smith of Rose Hill.

Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn, Luana Isaac, and Kevin and Jan Jantz, Kaylee and Shauna were Sunday dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee. They celebrated a belated Mother's Day.

Evelyn Sidener and Joyce Kyle went to Lincolnville Friday to attend the Marion County Senior Citizens board meeting.

Joyce Kyle accompanied Bert and Scott Zogelman to commencement exercises Sunday afternoon at Marion. Later they enjoyed a reception for Heidi Zogelman at the home of her parents, Nick and Sharon. They also attended a reception for Krista Zogelman at the home of her parents, Pat and Mary. Many relatives and friends were at both homes. Too much delicious food in one day.
