Gaines enjoy hog roast hosted by Foths

Ronnie and Patti Gaines were guests at a hog roast Saturday evening hosted by Jerry and Carolee Foth. Dusty Gaines of Newton was a Sunday dinner guest of the Gaines. Maude Gaines was an afternoon visitor.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale and Maude Gaines attended the soup supper Saturday evening at Trinity United Methodist Church in El Dorado.
Al and Bonnie Plummer attended the musical concert at Butler County Community College Friday evening. They were guests Saturday at the dinner in El Dorado for parents of the "Sophisticated Ladies." Shelby is a member of the group.
Ella Janzen of Moundridge was a guest of her daughter and husband, Larry and Dee Morgan, from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning. They drove to Manhattan Sunday to spend the day with Chance and Brenda Manns, Bosten and Laken.
Nathan and Ella Koehn called on Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee Saturday morning. Their guests after church Sunday evening were Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn and Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee and Shauna.
Four young ladies from Pennsylvania were visiting their friend Grace Yoder, teacher at Eden Christian School, over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Isaac and family of Richill, Mo., and Luana Isaac were Sunday dinner guests of Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee and Shauna. Tony is a cousin of Janarro.
Sandy Sayers of El Dorado was a visitor of her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers, on Tuesday. Lois and Sandy went to Cottonwood Falls Wednesday and picked up Mary Archer, then went on to Olathe to shop.
I, Joyce Kyle, am tired! This past week was busy. On Monday I attended the ground-breaking of the new community building. On Tuesday I went with the PATH group to the Pumpkin Patch. That was fun.
I attended the salad supper at the First Mennonite Church Wednesday evening. Steve Waite was the guest speaker and was very interesting.
On Thursday, I attended the Marion County Senior Citizens annual meeting in Marion. Others attending from Burns were Kathleen Brenzikofer, Evelyn Sidener, Irene Elisha, and Don Parrish. That evening, Gene Obee, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and I went to the home of Mary Langenegger for the First Mennonite senior fellowship.

Saturday evening, I attended the 25th anniversary celebration of Pat and Mary Zogelman in Florence. Congratulations to them!
On Sunday, I was a guest in the home of Bob and Becky Kyle, Brody and Braxton at Peabody for Braxton's sixth birthday. Other guests were Marion and Carolyn Rowland, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hladik, Brad and Sherry Glover, Zack and Kerrie, Brian Henry, Glenn and Betty Kyle, and Dan Kyle and Robin.
