Freshmen present one-act comedies

Staff writer

The Peabody-Burns Freshman Class finished a successful two-night run Friday and Saturday nights of two one-act comedy murder mysteries by Michael Druse, "And Then There Was One" and "And Then There Was One, Too."

The plays, directed by Brenda Riggs with support from class sponsors Robi Alstrom and Doris Unruh, played to good crowds both nights.

"The kids did a great job," said Riggs. "We were so proud of their efforts on stage. They really proved they could do what needed to be done and still have fun."

The class raised about $500 on admission and desserts that were sold during intermission.

Cast members included Lindsay Wiebe, Jesse Riggs, Anthony Marple, Holly Faunce, Cody Horting, Kali Alstrom, Ricky Hill, Kaela Gillet, Isaac Good, Christina Newfield, Anna Zappone, Sarah Peugh, Michah Hilliard, Jason Carroll, Stephanie Vetter, Megan Cox, Jennifer Schmeling, and Holton Middleton..
