Free training for Peabody retailers

Attention Peabody retailers: if you want to learn more about using space in your business to increase profits, measuring true returns on inventory investments, developing floor plans that increase profits, and creating window displays that sell, Peabody Main Street invites you to join us at a workshop Aug. 3 in Parsons.
The presenter is Scott Day of Urban Development Services, a firm specializing in design management and retail economics for commercial revitalization. He has worked with Main Street programs in more than 40 states representing more than 500 different communities.
Day will present a multitude of new ideas on utilizing space effectively to create greater sales with little financial risk and using design to guide foot traffic throughout the business, among others.
This workshop is free to representatives from Kansas Main Street communities and members of the Kansas Downtown Development Association, of which Peabody is both. The two state organizations host quarterly trainings as a benefit of membership. I encourage all who can to join me at this workshop.
