Frances Yager
Frances I. Yager, 83, died Nov. 4, 2007.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of Alvin and Hester (DuBois) Richter.
She was a retired school teacher and former resident of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; brother, Kenneth Richter; and sister, Dixie Richter.
Survivors include her children, Dalvin Yager and Tyson Yager of Derby, Karlan Yager of Olathe, and D'Lise Lavin of Overland Park; brother, Jesse Richter of Peabody; two sisters, Zelda Hiebert of Newton and Esta Hall of Burns; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday morning at Downing and Lahey East Chapel, Wichita. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Scott County Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the Scott County Teachers Association Scholarship Fund, c/o Joyce Lauber, Scott City Middle School, 809 W. Ninth, Scott City 67871.
