Forensics team competes at Little River
Peabody-Burns High School forensics students participated Saturday in an invitational tournament at Little River. Students from 13 other schools were included in the tournament.
Anna Zappone placed fourth in humorous solo acting and Chelsea Mackey placed fourth in original oration speaking. Both girls received medals.
Jarred Weems and Mackey placed eighth in improvised duet acting.
Weems also participated in informative speaking and Kevin Benson participated in poetry interpretation.
The students are coached by Dorothy Rucker.
