Forensics students place in league competition
Students from Peabody-Burns High School attending the Heart of America league tournament March 10 in Sedgwick competed for honors with students from nine other schools.
Four PBHS students placed in the league competition. Maex Sammett placed second in humorous solo acting, Sandra McLeod was third in serious solo acting, and Jeconiah Spangler and Ricky Hill placed fourth in duet acting.
Other students participating were Eve Benyusova, Krystal Brown, Ashley Elliott, Holly Faunce, Jade Garcia, Micah Hilliard, Jesse Riggs, Katy Schmidt, Frankie Stevenson, Michael Unruh, and Anna Zappone.
Judges for the Peabody-Burns district were Gwen Gaines and Doe Ann Hague.
