FLORENCE YESTERYEARS: 75 years ago

The Mayflower Confectionery last week installed a new Frigidaire machine for ice cream packing. J.W. Mader is re-arranging the store and by doing so will have additional room for his patrons. A dandy, new sign has been hung in front of McCready's Market. It is one of the niftiest signs in town and carries the IGA (Independent Grocers' Association) emblem on it.
