Members of the vigilance committee of the Elmdale Bank and the two boys who frustrated the bank robbery there when they were trying to blow the safe, have received rewards from three sources. The Kansas Bankers Association, the Bankers Association of Chase County, and an insurance company each contributed 200 dollars to the reward, to be distributed equally to the six men and two boys responsible for saving the bank.
