FLORENCE YESTERYEARS: 25 years ago

August 12, 1977

There will be a carnival on Saturday, August 14, at 3 p.m. in the Florence city park. The carnival will raise money in the fight against muscular dystrophy. Refreshments will be available. Prizes and surprises will be awarded.

Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Stevens accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Stevens and Cindy to Dodge City Sunday to celebrate the 83rd birthday of Mrs. D.C. Stevens' aunt, Mrs. Ormel Bailey. The Stevens also visited Boot Hill.
