Susan McInteer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fisher of Preston, and Reilly Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Reid of Florence, were married June 26 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The organist was Mrs. Barry Linnens. Ushers were Jim Reid, brother of the groom, Michael Hodges, and Barry Linnens. Maid of honor was Tena Fisher, sister of the bride. Best man was Tom Reid, brother of the groom.
The children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Mayor and Mrs. Dwight C. Stevens of Florence are hosting an open house honoring their 50th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Stevens is the former Mable Jones and is retired from the telephone company. Mr. Stevens is retired from Boeing Aircraft Company and is active in city government as mayor of Florence.
