Florence: Williamses enjoy 'Good News'

Twilah Williams, Stephanie Williams, and a co-worker enjoyed dinner in Wichita Thursday evening. Later in the evening they attended the play "Good News" at Music Theatre.

Mary Jane Grimmett, Deb Shipman, and Becky Summerville attended a luncheon Friday at the Old Towne restaurant in Hillsboro. Other Marion County school district office personnel and secretaries attending were from Peabody and Hillsboro.

Guests of Ronald and Kathleen Ludwig for Father's Day included family members Scott and Rolana Heidebrecht and boys of Marion, Steve and Tawnya Socokoll and Corinn of Wichita, and Dan Ludwig. All attended services at the Florence Christian Church.

Mary Jane Grimmett attended the Flint Hills Folklife Festival on the Chase County Courthouse lawn Sunday afternoon in Cottonwood Falls.

Bert Zogelman and Carol Callahan attended the Wildflower Tour through the Flint Hills on Tuesday. Bert attended a 50th birthday party Saturday evening for her daughter Carol Callahan of Burns, held at the American Legion in Florence.

Twilah Williams attended a swim meet at Marion Saturday morning to watch her grandson, Chase Williams, compete.

Beki Zook attended the wedding of Amy Linnens and Brad Remington Saturday evening at the home of the bride's father.
