Florence will host development expert
Sarah Cope, economic development committee chairman for the City of Florence, has announced that David Darling will be in Florence June 3 to address some of the needs of the city.
Darling is a community development economist at Kansas State University.
He will meet with Cope and her committee to offer suggestions for maximizing the town's potential.
At 5:30 p.m. the committee will host a supper and community meeting at the ambulance building. Residents will have an opportunity to hear Darling speak and to ask him questions. The committee will host a free meal.
