Florence personals: Vannockers enjoy weekend guests

Edith Hansen, mother of Joy Vannocker celebrated her 90th birthday Aug. 7 with a celebration held at First Southern Baptist Church at Madison. A luncheon and reception was held for more than 150 people. Guests of Joy and Orville Vannocker during the week were Frank, Troy, and Bill Welch of Phoenix, Ariz., Wayne Thompson and daughters, Monica, Annette, and Vicki of Carterville, Ga., Brad and Becky Vannocker of Hillsboro, Melissa Parmley of Cedar Point, Pam Herzet, Sherie Satterfield and Laurie of Newton, and Mark Satterfield of Topeka.
Lucille and Richard Wyss attended the graduation of Mandy Wyss from International School of Hair Design Friday evening at Wichita. They attended a barbecue Sunday evening in honor of Mandy at the home of Jeff and Lynda Wyss and family.
Justin and Rachelle Grimmett and Ethan of Lindsborg visited this past Sunday evening with Mary Jane Grimmett, Jean Everett, and Tyson and Melanie Grimmett, Bethany and Heidi.
Grant Davidson visited Sunday with his grandparents, Ray and Eleanor Davidson.
Kenneth and Betty Mattheyre of Marshall, Texas, and Betty Rackley of Chandler, Okla., were Monday visitors of Richard and Lucille Wyss.
