Florence personals: Ludwigs welcome granddaughter, Jenna Lynn

Steve and Tawyna Sokoll of Wichita announce the birth of a daughter, Jenna Lynn, Sept. 30. Jenna weighed seven pounds six ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. She has an older sister, Corinn, who almost is five years old. Ron and Kathleen Ludwig are the grandparents. Kathleen will spend the next week helping at the Sokoll home.

Guests of Joy and Orville Vannocker and Edith Hansell for Sunday dinner were Bill and Frank Welch of Madison, Mark and Ryan Satterfield and Libby of Topeka, Shawn Satterfield of Cassoday, Jamie of Emporia, Brad, Becky, and Jessica Vannocker of Hillsboro, Melissa and Cody Parmley of Cedar Point, Cherie Satterfield, and Lori Satterfield and Dennis of Newton. The dinner was held in honor of Ryan Satterfield whose reserve unit has been activated and Ryan will be reporting to Mississippi soon to receive overseas orders.

Richard and Lucille Wyss attended a birthday supper Sunday evening for Mandy Wyss who was celebrating her 20th birthday at the home of her parents and family, Jeff and Lynda Wyss.

Members and guests of Florence United Methodist Church who attended a "pitch in and help" card party Saturday evening at the home of Rod and Twilah Williams were Roger and LaDonna Giesbrecht, Les and Linda Allison, Raquel Riggs, Richard and Dolores Mann, and Mason and Betty Fetrow of Cedar Point, Harold and Shirley Grinstead, Mary Jane Grimmett, Pastor BethAnn Black, and Roberta Winter.

Joe and Dorothy Davidson of Denver, Colo., were Monday overnight and Tuesday guests of Ray and Eleanor Davidson.

Ronald and Kathleen Ludwig spent from Oct. 3 through Thursday visiting relatives in Oklahoma.

Those who attended the Gaither concert at Kansas Coliseum Friday evening at Wichita were Richard and Dolores Mann and Dolly Soyez of Cedar Point, Don and Twylah Nightengale, Pastor BethAnn Black, Mary Jane Grimmett, Jane and Dewy Stevens, and Harold and Chloe Triggs of Newton.

Eric and Barbara Clay were Thursday visitors of Richard and Lucille Wyss. Eric will leave Monday to return to Kosovo.

Don and Twylah Nightengale visited Sunday with their daughter, Carol Nightengale at Topeka. In the evening they visited Dolores and Richard Mann of Cedar Point.

Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Zook returned Saturday from a nine-day trip to Brigantine Beach, N.J. They rode the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Tuesday returning on Ocean Drive through 14 seaside communities. At Broadway on the Boardwalk at Trump Plaza they attended the production Wednesday evening of "Anything Goes."
