Mr. and Mrs. Ed Robinson accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Smith of Wichita on a fishing trip last Monday through Thursday to the Lake of the Ozarks.
Janet Turner of Eureka was a Saturday visitor of her parents, Don and Twylah Nightengale. Sunday afternoon visitors were Marve and Sherol Nightengale of Burns. Dolores Mann visited during the week.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wyss celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary by dining in Newton last Monday evening.
Estelle McCarty attended the Old Settlers' Day Parade in Marion Saturday and a McCarty family picnic at the park at noon.
Lenora Graham attended a Learning in Retirement meeting Thursday at Tabor College. She had dinner with Georgia Spohn of Tampa.
A get-together was held at Grandview Park Sept. 20 in Florence to honor Jan and Tim Hall of Kent, Wash., Family members attending were: Pauline and Irwin Creamer, Larry and Judy Creamer and Jenny, Willie and Laura Creamer and family of Minneapolis; Virginia Learned, Linda and Ron Kelsey, Kelly, April, and K.J. of Hiawatha, Francis and Jeanie Meirowsky, Nikki and Wes Riggs and boys, Tara Loveless of Derby, Dorothy and Leroy Parks of Hillsboro; Shawn and Kim Buster and family of Canton, Glendon and Stacey Parks and Jack of Newton, Don Creamer and Haley of Marion; Misty and Wade French and girls of McPherson, Travis and Bree Creamer of McPherson, and Jack Logan of Emporia.
