Mr. and Mrs. Byron McCarty Jr. and Megan of Hillsboro, Christina and Randi McCarty and Estelle McCarty of Florence attended the basic training class commencement ceremony of Duane McCarty Aug. 17 at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center. Duane is a member of the Marion Police Department. Following the ceremony, all went to a Yoder restaurant for a late lunch.
Estelle McCarty attended the Marion County board of elderly meeting Friday in Lehigh.
