Mary Jane Grimmett was in Newton Thursday and Friday to visit her new granddaughter. Heidi Elizabeth Grimmett weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was born July 15 at Newton Medical Center. She has a sister, Bethany, 2 1/2.
Corin and Cody Parmley of Cedar Point were Saturday overnight guests of Tim and Janette Parmley. Sunday, they spent the day visiting Travis and Andi Parmley in Great Bend.
Visitors this past week of Ray and Eleanor Davidson were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Davidson of Baker City, Ore., and Greg Davidson of Corvallis, Ore. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Davidson, Grant and Meghan of Eureka.
Sunday dinner guests of Jean Everett were Ed and Linda Hepburn of Benton.
Kate Vaupel of Wichita was a Wednesday through Sunday guest of her grandmother, Betty Ireland. Wava Ireland of El Dorado was a Saturday overnight guest. Saturday, they attended the T-Roy Rod Run car show and lunch at Grandview Park in Florence. Wanda Vaupel was a Sunday dinner guest.
Don and Twylah Nightengale and Harold and Shirley Grinstead attended the community hog roast Saturday evening at Burns.
Jean Everett visited her new granddaughter, Heidi Elizabeth Grimmett, Thursday at Newton Medical Center.
Mark Satterfield, grandson of Joy Vannocker, called to say he will be starting home Tuesday from a 10-month visit studying and taking classes in Germany.
