Bert Zogelman announces the birth of her great-grandson, Gabriel William Sladek, born April 9 in Wichita. Gabriel weighed seven pounds three ounces and was 21 inches long. His parents are Samantha Gomez and Brian Sladek. Carol Callahan of Burns is Gabriel's grandmother.

Easter dinner guests of Bert Zogelman were Nick and Sharon Zogelman and girls, Pat and Mary Zogelman, Scott Zogelman, Carol Callahan and Jason of Burns, Sara Zogelman, Samantha and Brian Sladek, Valen and Gabriel of Wichita, Krista Zogelman of Fort Scott, and Lisa Gibbons of Kansas City, Mo. Joyce Kyle of Burns was an afternoon visitor.

Bernell Lovett and Shirley Grinstead were Tuesday visitors of Don and Twylah Nightengale.

Tom and Janette Parmley spent Friday through Saturday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Junior Parmley of Montrose, Mo.

Ronald and Kathleen Ludwig attended Good Friday services at Aulne United Methodist Church and later visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor in Marion.

Easter dinner guests of Orville and Joy Vannocker were Brad and Becky Vannocker and Jessica of Hillsboro, Pam and Quinn Herzet of Newton, and Russ and Nicki Vannocker of El Dorado, Edith Hansel and Bill Welch of Madison, Wayne Thompson of Cartersville, Ga., and Shawn Satterfield. Afternoon visitors were Cherie, Marlin, and Ryan Satterfield, and Angie Herzet of Newton.

Don and Twylah Nightengale spent Easter in Topeka with their daughter, Carol Nightengale. Other guests were Janet and Bud Turner of Eureka, Adam Turner and Danielle Jones of Emporia, and Shannon Turner of Overland Park.

Easter dinner guests of Ronald and Kathleen Ludwig were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Sokoll and Corinn of Wichita, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Heidebrecht and boys of Marion, and Dan Ludwig.

Weekend guests of Richard and Lucille Wyss were their daughter, Terry and Sandra Rodgers of Garden City. Other family members enjoying Easter dinner at the home of Jeff and Lynda Wyss, Mandy, JaNay, and Macy were Richard and Darla Wyss of Independence, Marvin and Paula Wyss and Gage Branson of Marion, Patricia Wyss and fiancé, Greg Semons of Wichita, and Travis Wyss of Burns. They also celebrated Lucille's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Weber, Larry, and Clint of Cedar Point, and Andrew Weber were Easter dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor and family in Manhattan. Larry and Clint hid Easter eggs for the children after dinner.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Weber of Cedar Point spent from April 3-10 at Fairfield Meadows Resort in Branson, Mo. Among the week's highlights were riding the ducks, visiting Stone Hill Winery, and the fish hatchery.
