Roger and Marie Land hosted a family post-Christmas celebration Jan. 3 at their home. Those attending were Rick and Margaret Burcky, Shirley Cardin, Jack Meredith, and Kara and Brian Hinton of Florence; Tasha Meredith and Curtis Hancock of Marion; Ethel Shelburn and family and Jackie Crump of Eureka; Sandy and Gary Riggs, Shannon Larson and girls, Sophie Riggs, and Chris and Stephanie Snyder of Newton; Kevin, Rose, and Devin Clark of Texas; and Ricky Flynn of Oklahoma. Those attending had a great time visiting.
Betty Ireland was a Saturday overnight guest of her daughter, Wava Ireland in El Dorado.
Mary Lou and Mike Johnson of Mound City were Saturday visitors of Richard and Lucille Wyss. They were here to attend the funeral of Pauline Creamer.
Don and Twylah Nightengale visited Wednesday evening with Harold and Shirley Grinstead.
