Florence group seeks recipes for cookbook
Members of Florence Historical Society were reminded to share their favorite recipes for the new recipe book which will be published soon.
The organization met Aug. 17 for its regular monthly meeting.
Members were asked to submit their recipes to Kristal Timm, who is in charge of the recipe book. Anyone in the community may submit recipes and are urged to take one to four recipes to Florence Market.
Members are planning a garage sale over the Labor Day holiday. Any donations will be appreciated.
The August newsletter has been printed and will be mailed to all members. It was decided to build a float for the Labor Day parade. Members will start work on the community calendar which will be printed and sold this fall.
