Flaming signs letter of intent
Elyria Christian School student Curtis Flaming has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer for Cloud County Community College in Concordia.
Flaming, a 6-1 goalkeeper who lettered for three years in high school, led the Eagles to a 10-8 record his senior season and was selected to the all-tournament team at the McPherson Invitational tournament. He also was named to the second-team All-region team.
The honor student's future coach said he is glad to have him. "[His] size, athletic ability, and his willingness to work hard and sacrifice his body will be a great asset to our team this fall," Dane Straight said.
Flaming is the son of Tim and Judy Flaming of Hillsboro.
