FFA Week is coming
"One Mission — Student Success" is the theme for this special week of activities. FFA Week begins Monday with "Implement Day" when FFA members will drive their tractor, truck, or maybe even their combine to school. A noontime parade is planned.
Tuesday will be highlighted with an FFA Alumni luncheon in the Ag shop from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sam Atherton, district alumni director, will be guest speaker. Invited guests include FFA alumni, Peabody-Burns school board, and the school staff.
The third day of FFA week will start with a pancake feed, again in the Ag shop, for parents, business partners, FFA alumni, and school staff.
The chapter will be re-arranging the shop area on Thursday for the annual work auction that starts with a meal at 6:30 p.m. and the auction at 7:30 p.m.
The celebration will continue Friday night with the raffling off of cakes at half time of the basketball game.
A bowling and pizza party for FFA members will cap off the week's activities.
