FFA to host pancake feed

Taking advantage of the opening day of pheasant and quail hunting season, PBHS vocational agriculture students will be up before dawn to serve hunters an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at Peabody Senior Center.

The students have named their event "Birds and Breakfast," but are hoping residents with no interest in hunting also will attend.

They will begin serving at 6:30 a.m. and keep at it until 1 p.m. The menu includes sausage and a drink. The cost is $3 per person. Funds will be used for FFA projects during the coming year.

The group also will be selling FFA shirts at the breakfast.
