FFA members determine activities

Peabody-Burns High School FFA members met Saturday for a pizza party at the high school agriculture room.

Members were divided up among chapters officers to plan the program of activities for the year.

Members were to come up with activities in the areas of chapter development, community development, and student development. They also were challenged to come up with new ideas for the chapter to participate in during the school year.

Some of the new ideas were to conduct a recycling program in the school, sponsor a hunter's safety course, and hold a chapter lock-in during National FFA Week.

The program of activities was approved and will be turned in to Kansas FFA to have on file.
