Fern Waggy
Fern M. Waggy, 84, longtime resident of the Burns community, died Feb. 17, 2004, at Kansas Christian Home, Newton.
Born Oct. 12, 1919, at Burns, she was the daughter of Olin and Maggie (Freeman) McIntosh.
She was married to Sherwood Waggy in 1939, at Cottonwood Falls.
Survivors include her husband, Sherwood, Florence; sons, Rex of Burns and Ron of Cheney; one sister, Rosalie Heath of Burns; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Florence, with burial in Burns Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Central Homecare and Hospice and Florence Ambulance Service.
