Fern Flint
Fern J. Flint, 95, Peabody, died Oct. 12, 2002, at Emporia.
She was born April 6, 1907, in Harrison County, Mo., the daughter of the late Curtis and Stella (Stotts) Wiley.
She married Clarence T. Flint in January 1930. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Melvin, of Emporia; daughter, Donna Bailey, Emporia; brothers, Forrest Wiley of Stanwood, Wash., and Garland Wiley of Sun City, Ariz.; sister, Lois Butcher of Kimberling City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. The Rev. David Randall of Peabody United Methodist Church officiated.
A memorial fund has been established in her name at the church or with Hand and Hand Hospice, Emporia.
