Family celebrates Easter with Gaines

Easter dinner guests of Maude Gaines were Shelly Harper and Ben of Inman, Zack Harper of Lawrence, Herb and Melinda Gaines of Cassoday, Bo Gaines of Lindsborg, and Norma and LeRoy Riggs of Marion.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to Marion Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning for Maude to see the doctor.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those attending were Maude Gaines, Sherry Nightengale, and Dorene Kirkpatrick.
Dorene Kirkpatrick and LaVonne Ammeter worked in El Dorado Thursday and Friday.
Maude Gaines ate lunch at the senior center in Peabody Thursday and quilted.
Maude Gaines and Sally Matz were in Marion Friday morning. They visited at the Marvin Nightengale home in the afternoon.
LaVonne Ammeter and Don Gillet attended the one-act comedy mystery presented Friday night by the freshman class of Peabody-Burns High School. Jesse Riggs, Don's grandson and LaVonne's nephew, was in the cast. It was a great job by all the cast members!
Bob Kyle, Brody and Braxton came to LaVonne's Saturday to pick up cakes.
Myron and Sally Ammeter called LaVonne early Sunday morning to report on their trip to Minneapolis, Minn., to attend Amy's spring program. They report a great time.
LaVonne attended church at the Peabody United Methodist Church Sunday morning and attended the dinner for the PBHS seniors. It was good food and great fellowship.
Later in the afternoon LaVonne visited Brenda and Dennis Riggs and boys to wish Ethan a happy birthday! Don Gillet was a dinner and supper guest of the Riggs.
LaVonne visited Maude Gaines late Sunday afternoon.
Delores Bowser visited LaVonne Sunday evening.
