Erin Cox awarded Foresters Scholarship
Erin Cox of Peabody has been awarded a Foresters 2002-2003 Scholarship. Foresters Midway Branch announced that Cox is one of three students in Kansas to receive the award.
The $2,000 annual grant is provided up to four years or until a bachelor's degree is earned. Award recipients must demonstrate satisfactory progress toward a degree for repeat eligibility.
Foresters, a financial services organization, began its scholarship competition in 1982 as a way to offset the rising cost of higher education among its members.
Cox is a 2002 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School. She is the daughter of Randy and Laurie Cox of Peabody and is attending Baker University.
