Emergency disaster loan deadline is Oct. 11 for farmers/ranchers years ago
Deadline for filing applications for Emergency Disaster (EM) loans by farmers and ranchers in Marion County is Oct. 11, reports farm loan manager.
Those needing farm credit as a result of severe storms, heavy rains, and flooding during Jan. 4-6, and who think they are eligible for FSA assistance, should apply at the FSA County Office, 2501 West 18th Avenue, Emporia.
FSA loans covering physical losses may be used to replace installations, equipment, livestock, or buildings (including homes), lost through the disaster.
FSA loans covering production losses may be used to buy feed, seed, fertilizer, livestock, or make payments on real estate and chattel debts.
