Eldon Knak

Eldon W. Knak, 83, of Hillsboro, died March 26, 2005.

Born March 13, 1922, at Hillsboro, he was the son of William and Louise (Penner) Knak.

He was a farmer and machinist and a member of First Mennonite Church.

On March 12, 1946, he married Hilda Funk at Goessel.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Knak.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda of Hillsboro; six sons, Michael of Hillsboro, Ronny of Wichita, Don of Florence, Glenn of Salina, Larry of Thomason Town, Pa., and Roger of Russell; a daughter, Clarice Warkentin of Hillsboro; a sister, Lois Koehn Wells of California; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Stanley Bohn officiating.

Burial will precede the service at 1 p.m. at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

Memorial funds have been established with First Mennonite Church or the American Heart Association.
