Editor recovers from surgery
Hoch Publishing Company, Inc., owner of the Peabody Gazette-Bulletin, Marion County Record, and Hillsboro Star-Journal, has an important member of its staff absent right now.
I wish we could say this news editor is on vacation — lying in the sun in Tahiti or something exotic and wonderful as that, but unfortunately she is temporarily out-of-commission due to an illness.
— SUSAN MARSHALL became ill this past week. After an examination and tests, it was determined she needed heart bypass surgery.
The surgery took place Monday. We hope Susan is well and back in her usual form in no time at all.
