Edith Hamilton
Edith Mae Hamilton, 53, of Carl Junction, Mo., died April 23, 2003, at Freeman Hospital West following a long-term illness.
Born Jan. 13, 1950, in Topeka, she was the daughter of Elton and Anna (Kerns) Hamilton.
She worked as a certified nurse's assistant in the health care industry.
Her parents and a sister, Betty Burkett, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her only son, Eugene H. Randolph Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Joplin; three sisters, Marjorie Mason of Florida, Pat Harrison of Carbondale, and Judy Shively of Overbrook; two brothers, Gene Hamilton of Oregon and Terry Hamilton of Carl Junction, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Florence.
